Job Description:

Lead worship and worship band and team and have the technical knowledge to operate and facilitate all aspects of media relating to worship.

Job Requirements:

·Lead engaging worship for worship services on Sunday mornings and evenings

·Oversee all aspects of Sunday worship services programming, including music, sound, lights, and media presentations

·Plan, prepare, and oversee the leadership of supplemental and seasonal (i.e. Christmas) services

·Develop, train and lead current worship team members

·Recruit and raise up new worship team members (both instrumentalists & vocalists)

·Provide leadership for worship needs outside of Sunday morning as needed

·Coordinate Media and Sound/Tech teams

·Design Sunday media presentations including worship, sermon slides, message intro videos, announcement slides/videos, etc.

·Interface with Technology Team and serve as liaison for office technology needs

·Work with staff team in planning and implementing ministry ideas

·Manage worship budget and resources

·Collaborate with other ministries (i.e. Students, Children’s) and provide oversight in developing their own worship resources

Highly Desired:

·A passion for the Lord and an actively growing relationship with Him

·A commitment to personal integrity and character (teachable and accountable)

·A bachelor's degree, preferably in music, ministry, or related field

·A skilled instrumentalist, preferably in keyboard, and gifted vocalist able to lead in congregational worship

·A music leader having the ability to collaboratively and effectively in a team setting with a variety of artists, musicians (of varying degrees of accomplishment), and styles

·A working knowledge of and ability to use design and video editing software to create message series branding, event logos, promotional materials, message introduction videos, etc.

·A team player who is committed to engaging people both inside and outside of our congregation, and who is excited to develop people and teams around him/herself

·A leader who is willing to invest him/herself in both our church and the surrounding community

·A staff member who will intentionally foster relationships with congregation members as well as the pastoral staff team
