·Oversee the culture, direction, and implementation of a Kingdom culturally-minded Children’s Ministry ages Infant - 5thGrade.
·Strong core values in the Kingdom of God advancing, community, teamwork, organization, honor, communication and leadership.
·Ability to cast and carry vision for children’s staff and team of volunteers.
·Ability to impart vision, mission of Heaven-on-Earth, and value that ‘there’s no such thing as Jr. Holy Spirit’ to team of volunteers, children, and families.
·Offer pastoral leadership to children by ensuring all systems, practices, and policies are responsibly and effectively supported within the ministry.
- Job Requirements:
·Continue to build ‘team’: recruit, train, schedule, and develop volunteer leaders and teams.
·Host and administrate volunteer training orientations.
·Maintain our Family CO-OP Ministry.
·Provide monthly volunteer communication of schedules, curriculums, and trainings.
·Provide oversight of master volunteer schedules.
·Provide management and accountability for volunteer teams.
·Provide volunteer teams with current ‘best practices’.
·Ensure that our Children’s Ministry is available to partner with parents.
·Oversee and manage all operations for application processes: background checks, references, applications, safety and security procedures, scheduling, and training.
·Creatively oversee and administrate all programming (Nursery, Preschool, Elementary).
·Teach and lead the Elementary program on Sunday mornings.
·Responsible for creating life-giving, Presence-focused programs where children are fully engaged.
·Choose and prepare relevant, Kingdom-minded curriculum for each age level classroom.
·Provide facility management of all children’s areas.
·Provide pastoral care for children and families i.e. children hospital visits, parent/child mentorship, etc.
·Maintain strategy for reaching new children and families.
·Plan and oversee Hope Soccer Camp; our largest and annual city outreach.
·Create and continually improve follow-up methods for families.
·Manage the Children’s Ministry budget and expenses.
·Develop strategies to equip parents.
·Develop children outreaches.
