Job Description:

Grace Capital City is a young, vibrant and growing church, planted 3 years ago in the heart of Washington DC.

Our church is seeking a full time Operations Director to continue growing our church in excellence, efficiency and culture.

The right candidate should have a love for people, a passion for raising up and empowering volunteers and a love for creating and implementing operational systems to build our churches capacity to minister effectively.

They should bring some level of experience in operational and event management, be detail oriented and able to bring a high level of follow through to all tasks and projects.

They should also feel a call to ministering in an urban environment, loving the city and embracing the benefits and challenges that it brings.

Job Requirements:

Expectations ::

- Able to recruit, shepherd and deploy Sunday volunteer teams to ensure the effective running of all Sunday services.

-Able to give oversight and attention to day to day operational tasks such as supply management, storage of equipment, and purchasing of resources as needed.

-Able to raise up, train and equip volunteers. Working to build within our volunteer teams a culture of excellence, a love for the Church and ultimately a love for God.

-Able to be a positive, empowering and discipling presence in all environments. To have a great attitude, and handle stress and frustration without negatively impacting team culture or church environment.

-Able to work collaboratively & contribute to a team environment with the GCC Lead Pastor and Staff Team.

-Able to manage and execute administrative tasks such as scheduling, communication, budgeting and event planning.

- Willing to work with Pastors to offer vision to continue building a passionate, vibrant and excellent church environment.

-Able to give extra attention to specific events, in an ‘Event Manager’ type of role.
